Prickly Pines Weekly Disc Golf Recap – March 22, 2026

The Prickly Pines crew came out throwing despite a chilly start on Sunday, with 39 players taking the course for another competitive round of tags. The cold didn’t slow anyone down — especially Zach Trollinger, who turned in one of the biggest tag jumps of the season so far. No aces on the day, but the competition was plenty hot by the time the round wrapped up.

Top Performances

AJ Glasshof held his ground at the top, defending the #2 tag with a clean 52 to keep his spot among the elite. Kevin Hopkins was right on his heels with a 53, holding firm at #3. The real standout performance of the day, though, belonged to Zach Trollinger — he came in sitting at #49 and fired a 55 to rocket all the way up to #9, one of the most impressive single-round climbs we’ve seen this year.

New Player Highlights

Five new players made their Prickly Pines debut on Sunday! Adam Braa made a strong first impression, carding a 57 to earn the #17 tag right out of the gate. Stan Luna was close behind with a 58, landing at #34. Mike Hake joined the crew and picked up tag #100, while Arthur Sacco and Danielle Ingersoll also got on the board. Welcome to all five — we hope to see you back next week!
